The nurses run their own clinics and health promotion service, in association with the doctor.

Ante/Post Natal

Antenatal checks are usually done at the hospital.  Postnatal checks are done at 6 weeks, usually at the surgery by the doctor and practice nurse.

We undertake medical examinations for a number of non-NHS situations such as elderly drivers, pre-employment, fitness for sports and insurance requirements etc.

Special appointments should be made for these outside of normal surgery hours. 

As these services fall outside of the scope of the NHS a fee is usually payable and details of the current rates can be found below.
